Individual Counselling
“Nobody, as long as he moves about among the chaotic currents of life, is without trouble.”
-Carl Gustav Jung
Individual Counselling and/or Psychotherapy sessions are available for people who are in emotional and psychological distress, facing uncertainty or having difficulty dealing with life transitions or a range of life challenges. Distress can take many forms including depression, fear, anxiety or a loss of meaning in life. Counselling can be relatively short term and focus on current personal difficulties, or a longer process which helps people to understand the deeper roots of their present circumstances.
Individual counselling provides a supportive and confidential space to explore the challenges that may be affecting your emotional well-being, relationships, and overall quality of life. People seek counselling for many reasons, including anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, relationship difficulties, trauma, or simply feeling stuck and overwhelmed. At times, coping strategies that once worked may no longer be effective, leaving individuals feeling disconnected from themselves and uncertain about how to move forward.
Counselling offers an opportunity to gain greater self-awareness, understand patterns of thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and develop healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges. Through a collaborative and compassionate approach, individuals can explore their experiences, identify personal strengths, build resilience, and work toward meaningful change. Whether you are facing a specific concern or seeking personal growth, individual counselling can help you create a stronger sense of balance, clarity, and well-being.
